Questions:

1. How do we live in the Spirit? What does it mean to live in the Spirit?
2. What is assurance of salvation? How can we be sure that we are saved? How can I teach this to a newly saved Christian who is struggling? This is generally “common knowledge” among Christians but how can we be sure?
3. How should the assembly be involved if it hears about spousal/child abuse? (physical or sexual) Authority of the assembly over the laws of the land? If someone is being abused, to whom should they turn?
4. Read 2 Timothy 2:19-21. Can you define the different types of vessels and what it looks like to “purge” ourselves from the dishonor in a great house? Are we to separate from believers who are not associated with the truth of the one body?
